APPLICATION FOR SMOKE DETECTOR, CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM AND FIRE EXTINGUISHER COMPLIANCE

Before any structure is sold, leased, or otherwise made subject to change of occupancy the oneer shall obtain a Smoke detector  Carbon Monoxide alarm certificate of be subject to a $500.00 Fine as per  N.J.A.C. 5:70-2.12(b)

Online Form;  If you wish to file online, please enter the Date of Occupancy Change and click 'SUBMIT' to continue to the application form.  Complete all required fields, print the form, and mail or deliver with payment to;

FEES:

$45.00 - More than 10 business days prior to Occupancy change

$90.00 - 4 to 10 business days prior to occupancy change

$161.00 - Less than 4 business days prior to occupancy change

A reinspection fee of $20.00 will be required to be paid for any failure of an inspection.
